930 East Onyx Lane (9695 South), White City Township
Big Bear Park is a 14.6 acre park located in White City Township. Visitors to the park our greeted by a large bear statue near the playground area, and the newly renovated playground area hosts a variety of play structures from swings to zip lines that all ages can enjoy. Access to the White City Canal Trail is located on the south east end of the park.
Reed L. Tyler, an art teacher at Churchill Junior High, created the granite bear statue for the new park site in 1966. The bear weighs 4 ½ tons and stands six feet seven inches tall.

7500 South 2700 East, Cottonwood Heights
Butler Park is a 11.3 acre park in Cottonwood Heights, Utah located adjacent to Butler Middle School. The park is home to a sports field, basketball hoops, pickleball and tennis courts, as well as a pavilion and playgrounds. The park is managed and maintained in partnership with Cottonwood Heights Parks & Recreation.

Butterfield Trailhead Regional Park will provide 16 miles of multi-use trail within the Southwest Canyon Trails Network, with a trail that connects directly to Yellow Fork. Use of this park is specific to trails only. The regional park is a partnership between Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation, Kennecott Rio Tinto, and Bureau of Land Management. In addition to trails, the regional park will have a trailhead/parking lot.
The Southwest Canyon Trails Network includes Rose, Yellow Fork, and Butterfield canyons.
Butterfield Trailhead Regional Park officially opened to the public on August 31, 2023.
The trailhead parking lot is under construction. Estimated completion is December 2023.
A temporary trailhead parking lot is available on the trails map.
Equestrian/trailer parking is currently available at Yellow Fork trailhead.

Canyon Rim Park is a 16 acre park located in Millcreek City. Amenities include a pavilion, playgrounds, baseball field, pickleball and tennis courts, a horseshoe pit and an amphitheater.

Constitution Park is a 10-acre park next to the Northwest Recreation Center and the Jordan River Parkway in Salt Lake City's Fairpark neighborhood. The park features a pavilion, playground, sports field, tennis court and volleyball nets. In 2018 two futsal courts (mini soccer pitches) were completed and are now open to the public in the park.
*An irrigation and revegetation project will begin late June 2024. Estimated completion December 2024.

Copperton Park is a 10-acre community park in the heart of Copperton Metro Township. This shaded park includes walkways and jogging paths as well as a basketball court, a concrete volleyball court, tennis courts and a roller hockey court. The most popular amenity is a playground area which features climbing structures and large tires modeled after the nearby Kennecott Copper Mine.

Cougar Park is a 27-acre park located in West Jordan, Utah. The park features a pavilion with seating for 65, a playground, horseshoe courts, and a sand volleyball court.
In addition to the park amenities, Cougar Park is home to an owl nature preserve. The protected area serves to preserve and restore habitat of native plants and animals, including burrowing owls, which you may spot nesting here from March to September. The preserve's pedestrian trail is open from October through February.

Crestwood Regional Park is a 58-acre park located in Cottonwood Heights. Park amenities include tennis courts, horseshoes, and a playground with several picnic tables nearby. Additionally, the park features multiple walking and jogging paths that run alongside Little Cottonwood Creek, and is also home to the Crestwood Outdoor Pool.

Millrace Park is a 20-acre park located in Taylorsville. The park features a trailhead to the Jordan River Parkway, two pavilions, tennis courts, backstops for informal field games, a fishing dock on the river, and a fenced off-leash dog park.

Bruce Field Park is a 3.6 acre neighborhood park in Kearns. A former baseball field, the area now offers open space for a variety of outdoor sports. The playground includes accessible surfacing, slides, a climbing dome, and a bulldozer slide structure for younger children.
Dating back to World War II, Bruce Field was as a popular baseball area for soldiers at Camp Kearns to play ball. After the field lost popularity over time, community members and the Pony Baseball League sought to revive the area as a neighborhood park through a new partnership with Salt Lake County. The redeveloped park was completed in 2015.
