  • Parents or guardians are REQUIRED to be on-site to utilize this amenity.
  • Reservations are required! Please cancel your reservations if your plans change or a no-show fee may be charged.
  • Drop-in Child Care Admission Agreement filled out yearly is required before child is allowed.
  • Services are for children between 8 weeks and 9 years old.
  • Max capacity listed on our reservation page.
  • Maximum 2-hour use.
  • Parents will be asked to return to child if:
    • Child requires a diaper change
    • Child continues to misbehave
    • Child has been crying for more than 15 minutes
  • No food or drink allowed
  • The same person who signs the child in must sign the child out.
  • NO SICK CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED INTO THE CHILD CARE.
  • All pacifiers must be attached to the child with a clip or be labeled.

**We discourage bringing personal items from home, as the center cannot be responsible for them. However, if such items are necessary for a child's security, please be sure they are marked appropriately.

Rates

  • $3 per hour (minimum on 1 hour charged per visit)
  • Punch Passes are available in amount of $24 and $48

Adaptive Programs

Celebrate your child’s birthday, team banquet, or family milestone at Dimple Dell Recreation Center! Our private party room provides a dedicated, convenient home base for gifts, treats, and gatherings, with optional facility day-pass add-ons for swimming, basketball, and active games.

Rental Overview and Inclusions

Every standard reservation includes dedicated time in the private party room plus setup and clean-up buffers:

  • Duration: 1.5-hour scheduled party rental
  • Setup and Takedown Buffer: 15 minutes before the scheduled time for setup and 15 minutes after for cleanup (total 2 hours of room access)
  • Furniture Provided: Five 6-foot tables and 20 chairs
  • Kitchenette Amenities: Service counter with sink and a standard refrigerator/freezer
  • Decorations: Party decorations are not provided; hosts may bring their own
Additional Time Extensions

Subject to room schedule availability, additional time may be booked in advance for $20 per half hour. Extended time is not guaranteed and must be coordinated through the customer service desk prior to your event date.

Facility Day Pass Rates (Participating Guests)

Room rentals do not include facility general admission. Day passes must be purchased for any attending guests who plan to use center amenities—such as the indoor leisure pool, basketball courts, ping-pong tables, or fitness spaces. Non-participating spectators remaining strictly inside the party room do not require a pass.

  • Youth (Ages 3–17): $4
  • Adults (Ages 18–61): $7
  • Seniors (Ages 62+): $5
  • Toddlers (Ages 2 and Under): Free
Large Group Discount

Parties with 20 or more participating guests receive a $1 discount per person on day-pass admissions.

Room Rules and Host Responsibilities

To keep our spaces clean and safe for all guests, party hosts must observe the following building policies:

  • No Open Flames: Candles, chafing-dish fuel cans, and open flames of any kind are strictly prohibited inside the recreation center.
  • Cleaning Guidelines: Confetti, silly string, glitter, and party remnants must be cleaned up in their entirety by the party host within the designated 15-minute takedown window.
  • Waste Disposal: Please bag all food waste, tableware, and party trash and deposit them in the provided room receptacles before leaving.

Swimming Pool Rules and Safety Policies

If your party plans to swim during your visit, please review our division Aquatic Policies and Pool Rules before arriving:

  • Arm’s Reach Supervision (Ages 5 and Under): Children age 5 and younger must be accompanied in the water at all times by a parent, guardian, or chaperone age 14 or older. The chaperone must wear a swimsuit and remain within arm’s reach of the child at all times, even if the child is wearing a life jacket.
  • Diaper Policy Enforced: Children age 2 and younger, as well as any individual who wears diapers, must wear a commercial swim diaper and tight-fitting rubber/plastic waterproof pants. Standard disposable or cloth diapers are strictly prohibited in the water. Approved swim diapers are available for purchase at the front desk.
  • Flotation Devices and Pool Toys: Only U.S. Coast Guard-approved lifejackets and flotation devices are permitted. Lifeguards and aquatic staff must inspect and approve all personal water toys, balls, and flotation items before they are brought into the pool basin.

Personal Training Sessions

One-on-one training sessions are available for all ages and experience levels. A structured program will be developed to help you reach your goals safely using cardiovascular exercise, weight training, stretching, and nutritional advice. Your trainer will be with you through your entire workout to ensure exercise effectiveness and safety.

Rates may vary between personal trainers. Contact them directly for current rates and availability.

Consultation & Assessment
  • The consultation visit will last about 1/2 hour. In this visit, you will get to know your trainer, as well as discuss your past history and future goals.
  • During your second visit your physical fitness will be assessed. The battery of tests include body fat analysis, aerobic capacity, flexibility, and muscular endurance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dimple Dell offers both water and land aerobic classes. These classes include Yoga, Spin, Step, Jazzercise, and much much more.

Yes, only if they have attended the 14 and 15-year-old certification program. This FREE class is every third Tuesday from 7 pm–8:30 pm. Pre-registration is not required.

When you sign up please make note of what day your program is set to start and any other information listed on your registration sheet. Different programs have different protocols; some programs start with an organization day. In that case, you will NOT be called beforehand, you will be expected to show up on the day indicated on your registration sheet.

If you have not heard from the coach one week prior to start date and there was not an organization day planned please call the front desk at 385-468-3355 to find out what team you are on and the coach's information.

The pool typically is between 83 and 85 degrees.

Salt Lake County REQUIRES that children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the swimming pool.

Salt Lake County Health Department REQUIRES children 3 and under are required to wear a swim diaper and plastic swim pants.  

Swim Diapers can be bought at the front desk for $2.00.
