Summer Passport Partner Information

Participating in the ZAP Summer Passport program as a partner is a great way for grantees and County divisions to expand their audience, connect with residents and visitors throughout the summer, and build awareness for the value of ZAP funding for community organizations like yours.

If your organization/County division is interested in partnering with ZAP this summer through any one or more of the options listed below, please complete the Partner Form.

If you would like to be a destination site on the online calendar, submit a short description of the activity details through the online form. Remember to use details to interest the public to visit and submit ONLY those offerings which are free or discounted. We will place it on the calendar. Destinations can promote existing or new activities. Plan to use your own fun stamps or stickers on explorers’ Passports to indicate a visit has occurred.

  • Free/discounted destinations requiring full admission price at entry are ineligible; admission must be discounted.
  • Destinations are to be coordinated entirely by your organization/division including components of admission, etc. We only direct explorers where to find more information.

This year’s end of the summer celebration will be held at Wheeler Historic Farm for a second year in a row (Thank you Parks & Recreation!). We ask booth participants to have a free, interactive element to their booth such as a game or craft. (A spin wheel does not count.) An 8ft table, 2 chairs, and wagon (for unload/loading) will be provided. Bringing your own shade device such as a 10x10 text and hydrating drink would be prudent.

We’re in need of fun giveaway prizes for explorers of all ages to win throughout the Passport Celebration event. We appreciate offering items that are family friendly. Examples could be free passes, tickets to an event, memberships, discounts for future purchases, division brand swag, etc. Items need to be dropped off to ZAP at Mid-Valley Performing Arts Center, by August 2.

We will bring paper passports to your location(s) of choice prior to June 1, provide a short, recorded webinar, and a FAQ one-pager for frontline staff with program basics so they can answer questions from the public and/or promote the program. We prefer passports be on front counters over brochure racks, but either or both is fine. We ask that you track how many pads of 100 you distribute.

If you are interested in becoming a distribution site, please reach out to Daniel Stergios for more information.

Organizations/County divisions interested in participating should complete the Partner Form.

If you still have questions, please reach out to Daniel Stergios.
