Plat Review

Only final plats that have received approval from the land use authority can be submitted for review. Preliminary plats will not be reviewed.
To submit a plat for review, provide your contact information and attach the files through the Submit a Review link at the bottom of the page.
It is our preference that Land Use Authorities submit final plats directly for review.
Plat reviews are processed in the order they are received. Please allow our team at least two weeks to complete the review.
The Recorder's Office Plat Review is not a full technical review. It focuses on parcel details, ownership, and recording requirements to ensure the new tax parcels can be created as proposed. The land use authority is responsible for compliance with all applicable laws and has final approval on all plats presented for recording.

Plats are reviewed in the order they are received, and each is assigned a sequential review number. You can estimate your place in line by comparing your project's review number with the most recently completed review listed below.
Once your review is complete, you can check the status through the Schedule Appointment link.

The Recorder's Office Plat Review must be completed and plat status marked as Ready to Record before a recording appointment can be made.
To schedule a plat recording appointment, click the Schedule Appointment link at the bottom of the page.
Recording is by appointment only from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday.
You do not need to make an appointment if you are recording a Final Local Entity Plat or Street Dedication.
