My County Rec Pass

Thanks to the support of Mayor Wilson, Salt Lake County Council, and the Tourism, Recreation, Culture, and Convention program, Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation established the My County Rec Pass for youth in 2024.

The My County Rec Pass offers free access to Salt Lake County recreation centers for youth, ages 0-18.

Fill out and bring the My County Rec Pass application to participating centers.

Free pass to access Salt Lake County recreation centers and amenities, including:

  • Open plunge at 18 swimming pools
  • Public skate at three ice centers
  • Supervised climb time at two climbing walls
  • Open gymnasium time
  • Weight rooms
  • Fitness areas
  • Walking tracks

  • Recreation centers

  • Swimming pools 

My County Rec Pass is not valid at Kearns Recreation Center, Millcreek Activity Center, and Sports Office.

  • Parents/guardians may sign up their 0-18 year old(s) at a Salt Lake County operated recreation center.
    • 18-year-olds may sign up for the pass without the consent of a parent/guardian.
  • Both child and guardian must register in person
  • Parent/guardian must bring ID or proof of Salt Lake County residency.

Salt Lake County residents, age 0-18 are eligible for the My County Rec Pass. Youth who are nine years old and under must be accompanied by someone 14 years of age or older at all times. Other age restrictions may apply depending on the location and activity. Please see the My County Rec Pass Rules and Guidelines for detail. All patrons must comply with the Patron Standards of Conduct.
