Junior Jazz

As the nation's largest and longest-running NBA youth basketball program, Junior Jazz offers boys and girls from kindergarten through 12th grade an exciting, supportive environment to learn the game.

  • Focus: Fundamental skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.
  • What's Included: Official Junior Jazz reversible jersey (one), course instruction or league play, an appearance by Jazz players or coaches (select divisions), and Jazz game tickets (two).

Junior Jazz Leagues and Teams

  • Recreation: K–8th grade, build basketball basic skills, volunteer coach-led practices, games with officials at local recreation centers and school gyms.
  • High School: 9th–12th grade, volunteer coach-led practices, compete at the recreation level, games with certified officials at local recreation centers and school gyms.

3rd–8th grade, register as a group—6–10 players and a coach, games with certified officials held at various locations throughout Salt Lake County.

Game Information

Once all leagues and teams are established, a team huddle will be scheduled where team members gather to meet their coach and teammates, pick up their jersey, and participate in their first practice.

*Community Access Rates (CAR) are available for individuals in certain areas of the county.
