Rec Your Fall

Kids of all ages can learn a new sport and build their athletic skills by enrolling in cross country running, Junior Jazz basketball, NFL FLAG Football, or outdoor soccer. Principles of respect, leadership, kindness, and positivity are part of all fall programs.

Youth Fall Sports

Learn and improve cross country running skills while building friendships and practicing great sportsmanship. Coach-led practices with meets held at local recreation center fields.

Learn and improve basketball skills, build friendships, and practice great sportsmanship. Utah Jazz jersey (one) and game tickets (two) are included as part of the program. 

Leagues:

  • Rookie: K–2nd grade, basics, staff-led, scrimmages held during practice times
  • Recreation: 3rd –8th grade, build basketball basic skills, volunteer coach-led practices, games with certified officials at local recreation centers and school gyms
  • High School: 9th –12th grade, volunteer coach-led practices, compete at the recreation level, games with certified officials at local recreation centers and school gyms 

Teams: 

3rd –8th grade, register as a group—6-10 players and a coach, games with certified officials held at various locations throughout Salt Lake County

Develop fundamental football skills and a lifelong passion for the game in an official program of the NFL. Engaging, fun, and accessible for everyone.

Divisions (by grade):

  • 1st –2nd
  • 3rd –4th
  • 5th –6th

Practices are optional and decided by volunteer coaches. Games with certified officials are held at local recreation centers and parks.

Leagues:

  • Rookie: Ages 3–5, basics, staff-led, scrimmages held during practice
  • Youth: Ages 6–12, build skills, volunteer coach-led, games with certified officials at recreation centers and parks
