Use the map to find the recreation center nearest you.

Each facility has daily, monthly, or yearly passes available for purchase. Please visit a Salt Lake County facility to purchase a pass.

Thanks to the support of Mayor Wilson, Salt Lake County Council, and the Tourism, Recreation, Culture, and Convention program, Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation is piloting the “My County Rec Pass” for youth in 2024.

 

WHO is eligible?

  • School-aged youth, ages 5–18
  • Must be Salt Lake County residents

 

WHAT does it offer?  

  • Membership/pass to access and use Salt Lake County operated recreation centers and amenities, including:
  • swimming pools
  • ice sheets
  • gymnasium
  • weight room/fitness area/walking track (age restrictions apply)
  • climbing wall

 

WHEN will it be available?

  • Summer 2024—additional information will be available in the Spring

HOW do we sign up?

  • Parents/guardians may sign up their 5–18 year old(s) at a Salt Lake County operated recreation center

 

Youth who are 9 years old and under must be accompanied by someone 14 years of age or older at all times. Other age restrictions may apply. All patrons must comply with the Patron Standards of Conduct.

Please feel free to drop by any Parks and Recreation facility. A member of our staff will show you the amenities and help you familiarize yourself with the programs we offer.

You can register online for a good portion of our programs, however, you will need to check directly with each facility.

 

Yes. Part or whole facilities can be rented. Please contact the facility you are interested in reserving. We rent facilities for birthday parties, pool parties, ice rinks, meeting rooms, etc.

Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation has hosted a number of national tournaments and events. Give us a call (385) 468-1676. We would love to help you bring your tournament to Utah.

We have Adaptive Recreation programs and equipment for people with physical, developmental, or intellectual disabilities or impairments. To request accommodations, send an email to adaptiverecreation@slco.org or call (385) 468-1515.

Fee waivers for facility rentals may be requested by non-profit entities. Requests are reviewed and, when eligible and possible, approved. Applicants that receive a fee waiver are not eligible for another facility fee waiver, in accordance with the Fee Waiver Policy, for a period of at least three (3) years.

Discounted rates are available depending upon eligibiity/verification of low-income status.
