When you drive on any of our roads in our service areas, use a school crosswalk or move over for that snowplow, you have interacted with our division. Your safety and convenience matter to us, and we make sure over 700 miles of roadways, bridges and guardrails, signs, traffic signals and crosswalks are ready for you. (That’s farther than driving from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles!)

Our vast network of pipes and drains, flood channels and water retention facilities keep things flowing for you all year long. During storm events, we keep the channels and drains clear to minimize flooding. We also clean the stormwater drains to keep trash from making it into our rivers, streams and eventually, the Great Salt Lake.
