Nicholas Rupp, MCMP, LEHS

Nicholas Rupp has been a public information officer for Salt Lake County Health Department since 2010 and Communications Director since 2019. He began his career in broadcast television in the 1990s and then worked in radio, commercial photography, and for the Sundance Institute. He holds a bachelor's degree in mass communication and a master's degree in urban planning, both from the University of Utah. He was licensed in Utah as an environmental health scientist in 2016. From 2012-2020, Nicholas was also an adjunct faculty member for the University of Utah's College of Architecture + Planning, where he taught communication and public engagement courses.
