Long-Term Stormwater & Maintenance

The property owner is ultimately responsible for the operation and maintenance and long-term performance of the stormwater quality control measure(s) on the site. Failure to properly operate and maintain the measures could result in inadequate treatment of site runoff, or a slug loading of pollutants to the storm drain system. The Greater Salt Lake Municipal Services District (MSD) Planning and Development department is the long-term stormwater management contact for the communities of Magna, Kearns, White City, Emigration Canyon, Copperton, the Town of Brighton, and unincorporated Salt Lake County.  For all other areas in SLCo please contact your local city or town directly.
