Attend Meetings & Public Comment

In Person

Public comment is held at the beginning of each County Council meeting. Please check the agenda at the link below to confirm the meeting time.

To make a comment in person, arrive during the "Public Comment" section of the agenda. The Chair will invite and manage the public comments, which are typically limited to 2-3 minutes per person.

Virtually

Individuals wishing to watch virtually must access the meeting using the Webex link found on each agenda. Every Webex link is unique to each agenda. Historical and upcoming agendas are found at https://saltlakecounty.portal.civicclerk.com/.

Individuals wishing to comment virtually to the Council must access the meeting using the Webex link found on the agenda. Include "Resident" before your first name when you join the meeting, or you will not be identified as wanting to give a comment. Similar to in-person attendance, the Chair will invite and manage the virtual public comments, which are typically limited to 2-3 minutes per person.

Public Comment is at the beginning of each Council Meeting. The first time you join via Webex, the setup process may take a few extra minutes. Plan accordingly to join on time.

By Email

If an individual is unable to attend the meeting, they may also email their comments by 9:00 AM the day of the meeting to have those comments distributed to the Council.
