Yes, all dogs need to be on a leash for their safety.

Yes, this will help ensure that your cat does not get loose when opening the car door.

  • Bordetella vaccination
  • Deworming
  • Free microchips for Salt Lake County residents

Yes, if you are in one of the jurisdictions that Salt Lake County Animal Services serves, we will be offering pet licenses for a reasonable fee.

FAQ for People

The flu vaccine will be available for both children (6 months and up) and adults.

No, bringing a pet is not required, as our services are also available for people. However, if your pet needs vaccinations, you're welcome to bring them along.

  • Insurance card(s) (if insured)
  • Vaccination records (not required, but will speed up your wait time)
  • Filled out registration form (not required, but should help reduce your wait time)

No, but if you have insurance, please come prepared with your insurance card(s) and call your provider to verify coverage prior to receiving vaccines. See below for costs and qualifications:

  • Uninsured clients ages 18 and under will receive vaccines at no cost, while supplies last.
  • Uninsured adults ages 19+ will receive vaccines at no cost, while supplies last.
  • Clients with qualifying insurance/Medicaid/Chip (see link below of accepted plans) will have their insurance billed.
  • Clients with non-contracted insurance and/or pharmacy prescription cards should see their providers for their shots. If someone provides us with an insurance plan that we are unable to bill or will not cover the vaccines, the client will be billed for the cost of the vaccines.

We will be offering flu vaccines for people.
