2024 Fireworks and Fire Danger

2024 has the potential to be a dangerous wildfire season. We urge you to abide by active fire and fireworks restrictions. 

Two winters in a row with above-average snowpack has led to more vegetation. Combined with our unusually hot and dry spring, and with more severe weather events, this creates the potential for a long and dangerous wildfire season. 

Wildfires spread quickly and can devastate not only wildlife and natural areas but also communities and people.
